	Pachisi, ook gekend als het ‘vijfentwintig’ spel, is het nationale spel van India sinds duizenden jaren. Men mag het niet verwarren met Mens erger je niet(Nl), Ludo (UK) of Parcheesi(USA), waarvan de spelregels veel eenvoudiger zijn. De voorloper van Pachisi is het minder bekende Chaupar.
